As a devoted PC fan for many years, the thought of
Mac Computers never really materialized.
Can they do everything a PC can do?
Is software going to be difficult to find?
Why are they generally more expensive than a
PC?
Having grown up with PC's and quite comfortable in
using them, there
was no reason to switch to Apple. Mac Computers were a different world.
If it ain't broke, why fix it?
And Then There Was Vista
The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back was when the latest,
of a barrage, of Vista updates removed the WiFi capabilities in my PC
laptop. After searching for and removing the offending update, WiFi
returned like magic. After that, all automatic Windows updates were
disabled. Probably leaving my PC vulnerable to the latest Windows
attack.
Finally, a new look was granted to the Mac. It
really is true. Once You
Go Mac, You Never Go Back.

Fun. Easy. Intuitive.
After getting over the loss of the "other" button
on the mouse, navigating Leopard OSX is a joy. This is the way
computers should be!
It's the little things... like the way:
it starts up and shuts down lightning fast. And
doesn't require constant reboots.
navigation is made simple using two fingers on
the touchpad to scroll.
the keyboard automatically lights up in low
light conditions - now standard on the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
the power cord was designed to be trip-proof.
TextEdit intuitively wraps your words, unlike
PC text editors.
It's this attention to detail that helps the Mac
stand out from PC's. As a new fan of the Mac, this site is designed to
be a resource for those that have recently made the switch, or are
thinking about it.
Apple's market share is bigger than BMW's or
Mercedes's or Porsche's in the automotive market. What's wrong with
being BMW or Mercedes?
