The iPad simply does not compare to the netbook. They are completely different technologies. The netbook is a mini-laptop. It basically has the same basic features as a normal sized laptop just in a smaller package. The iPad on the other hand, is nothing short of unique. We have not seen anything like it to date.

Everything you do on the iPad is done by touch. Its highly sophisticated touch screen functions like a larger iPhone. The dimensions are 9.56" h x 7.47" w x 0.5" depth. It is the size of a standard book and weighs just 1.5 pounds. Most netbooks weigh at least 3 pounds.

All Apple products come with an option to purchase a hassle-free three-year warranty. In a year from now if your iPad does not start, simply take it to your neighborhood Apple store. They will determine if it can be fixed and replace any parts free of charge. If is not salvageable, they will replace it by giving you a new iPad, free of charge with no deductibles. For the iPad, it costs $99. But, this is well worth it for your own peace of mind. Apple stands by their warranty.
